Halloween sand art for kids in Edinburgh

Halloween is on Saturday 31 October. If you are hosting a party, a school disco or a community event, sand art gives children something hands-on to do between the sweets and the costume parade.

Why sand art works at Halloween parties

Children pick a picture, peel away the paper one shape at a time and sprinkle coloured sand onto the sticky part underneath. It is calm, it suits ages 3 and up, and every child goes home with a picture they made themselves. That is a party bag that does not end up in the bin.

Dark and bright sands make a great Halloween palette: black, orange, purple and lime green look striking on a night-time scene.

Halloween designs

Designs change with stock. If you would like Halloween themes such as pumpkins, bats or a spooky castle, tell us when you book. We will do our best, but we cannot guarantee a particular design.

Booking for Halloween weekend

Halloween weekend books up fast. If you are planning something for 30 or 31 October, message us as soon as you can with the date, the place and roughly how many children are coming.
